We Saved the Lower Canyon!

As many of you have likely heard, we’ve spent the last month dealing with the issue of CP Rail denying us access to the Lower Canyon of the Kicking Horse River.

For those who aren’t familiar with the Lower Canyon, it is an amazing stretch of river that starts off with a 4 km stretch of continuous class 4 whitewater. It flows through a beautiful tight canyon and ends with a float through the Town of Golden.

We are very happy to announce that we did come to an agreement and rafting will run as normal this summer. Woohoo!

4 Reasons We’re SO Excited for Spring!

Golden rules.

The town even has it written down as one of it’s mottos. Now we are a bit biased here, but it really is an awesome little place.

Truly.

Time and time again, Golden, British Columbia has captured our hearts in it’s ability to reveal to us how a communal love for the mountains inspires an abundance of lasting memories.

Train to be a Raft Guide!

Adventure, travel and exhilarating days on the river are all part of being a raft guide.

Glacier Raft Company is now offering a 12 day Professional and Recreational Raft Guide Certification Course in conjunction with the College of the Rockies.

2 Amazing Experiences to Add to Your Bucket List

We are very excited to be offering TWO different expedition trips this summer!

New to us this year is the Kootenay River.  It’s a beautiful 3 day scenic journey through Glacier National Park.  We’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Christmas Gift Ideas for the Adventurer on Your List

It’s amazing how quickly the seasons fly by.

We feel like we just closed the doors at Glacier but already it’s
sweater weather, curl up by a fire weather, and as a recent trip to Costco reminded us – time to start thinking about Christmas weather.
