I’ve been to this raft company twice (once before COVID) and went recently and happy to see that they still provide the same excellent experience!The guides are very experienced (travelled all around the world working for different companies) and all have a variety of great personalities.Highly recommend, try to get Jaime (pronounced “Hi-me”) if you can, he’s the best !

Ryan was hilarious! He makes you feel comfortable in his safety speeches while making everyone laugh. We had Alex as our guide (the french one with the moustache) and he was fantastic. This was our first time rafting with them and we will be back. The celebratory beer or pop they supply at the end was such a nice touch. Would recommend!

Glacier and our guide Jake run a smooth operation, sometimes under water, but always fun. It's really over before we knew it. We were the first boat and likely the best spot to be in. The water is freaking cold, we did it on at 35C day and glad we did. Otherwise I'd suggest the optional and supplied 'spray jacket' to stay a bit warmer. They take a lot of people out, just ask them. For all the labor shortages and bad employee stories. We found the entire team nice, knowledgeable and big smiles. Had a great time, Thanks Jake and team.

Had the best time on the water with Nico. He was such a fun guide. We did the full day this time, last time was a half day. The lunch was really good but overall would prefer the half day. Furry canoe was afloat that day!! BAHAHA You would have had to have been there to understand that one. Still, book with these guys and go have some fun. The water is COLD AF, it's beautiful scenery and you'll definitely will have some laughs!

I had the best day with Glacier Raft Company! The day started with a really well explained introduction to the day with very well thought out safety tips and instruction. We all got kitted out with wetsuits and spray jackets, the process was very organized and efficient.Our Raft instructor was Nicholas, he made the day a fun experience giving us tips and simple techniques to maneuver the raft.I'd recommend this trip to anyone and everyone. Thank you Glacier Raft Company, and of course Nico!

Excellent choice to go rafting with this company! The people that work here were very friendly. Safety measures were taken in abundance. Everything was very well arranged. At the end we had a tasty lunch. Our guide was Jaime, he is the best!We did the family tour which was perfect for people with younger kids or scary mums 😄

This was just an well-run trip all-around. The staff was very friendly, funny and efficient. Our guide (Darren) was simply terrific - one of the best guides I've had for any excursion. Everything was comfortable and fun, and getting back in our wet outfits to find a roaring fire and beers/sodas was wonderful.Highly recommended, and though the full-day helicopter trip is a bit more expensive, it's absolutely worth it to raft the lower canyon, which was the best part of the rafting for us.

We did the whole day trip as a family of four. We really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it and do it again! We were very well looked after by all of the staff. The safety briefing was clear. We were provided with all the gear we would need for the day. Anyone who comes will be expected to put their paddles in the water so expect to put some work in! The lunch provided was of a high standard and there was plenty to eat. The rapids we rode did not disappoint, it was a thrilling day. Be prepared to get wet!

We had such a fantastic time on our day trip. We had a group of 16 with 11 first time rafters. It was phenomenal, the lunch was simple but delicious. Our guide Diego has knowledgeable and so funny. Our group touched the bridge and graduated like champions. I cannot say enough positive things about the communication with this company, we booked months in advance and every question or request was answered immediately. The photo package is so worth it, my only complaint is that one of our rafts had a camera at the front so we were able to see their joy. It would have been nice to have that same vantage point in both rafts. The other small complaint is that we were divided into separate groups, so we did not enjoy the same waterfall breaks together, which would have been nice. It did not deter from our overall experience though. Next time the helicopter trip 🙂

A must do when in Golden!!!The entire staff is awesome! We had an exhilarating experience here! It was our first time rafting, and the guides did an amazing job easing us before we get on to the raft, with crisp and clear instructions. Our guide, Ryan, a huge shout out to him!!! The whole experience was mind-blowing! Will definitely come back again to try their full day heli-rafting.

We had such a great time! Our guide was Ryan and he was very knowledgeable and extremely personable. It made us feel safe, but we also had a ton of fun!The first part is very relaxing and they teach you all of the basics and let you know what to expect as they are constantly scouting the area in case there have been changes in the environment. You then get a nice lunch and then if you're up to it, they take you to a more challenging part of the river.I would suggest the extreme package. It's not as scary as it sounds as long as you can follow instruction! Great for beginners.We will definitely be booking again!

My friends and I had never done rafting before and had the most amazing full day experience with our guide Austin, he took the time to ensure everyone on our raft was incredibly comfortable and answered any and all questions we had. From the second you arrive every single staff member is incredibly welcoming and encouraging. While out on the water, Austin educated our group on the ecosystems and mountains alongside the river and even in the most intense moments made sure the group felt safe. You can immediately feel how important safety is to the entire crew. Overall it was a phenomenal experience and we will be returning to do it again!

I'm tempted to write this review in all caps: we had such an amazing day with this company, cannot recommend them highly enough.First-time rafters, we felt safe and informed throughout the whole day, and were entertained by all of the staff (even during the short bus rides to and from the drop in/out points).The first part of the day full day is quite calm with a chance to have a gentle (but bracing) swim alongside the boat. The afternoon is as exciting and wet as you'd expect from white water rafting!Lunch was great, Em and Nico were great, the scenery was great - AND WE SAW A BALD EAGLE. Fantastic all round.

This is the third time my family has been rafting with Glacier and it's always a highlight of our trips through the Rockies! We were lucky to hit peak flow season and it was SO much fun, the water was wild but we were in very good hands. The guides are amazing and the while Glacier team is so friendly and welcoming. 100% Recommended!

Wow, what a day! That was such an adventure and experience! Thanks to our fantastic guide Calein and the whole team, everything was so fun and perfect. Glacier Raft is a professional company, very well-equipped, everybody so friendly and - most important - the guides were really doing a great job on the water. I never felt worried, even in the big waves. Everybody should go and do the full day Whitewater Rafting. You will never forget it, and it is a wonderful time on the water!

This river was on my bucket list. Jake was an excellent guide. He ran beautiful clean lines to get extra splash, his commands were clear concise and smooth. The guides all seemed to be having a good time and the water was perfect with a later freshet. I always appreciate the respect guides give the water - to ensure safety is first - stopping to take a look before running sections of the river. Looking forward to doing it again next time!

We had one of the best family experiences with fun had by all ages! I was a bit nervous at first, but our guide, Em, was super fun, calm and made everyone feel at ease, safe and ensured we had fun for all. Couldn’t ask for a better day. Highly recommend this trip and company. I would do this again!

I went with some friends and we all had such a great experience! The team at Glacier Raft Company made sure everyone was aware of the safety protocols and made sure everyone was comfortable rafting, as it was some people’s first time. Chris was our guide and he was really great & made the experience a fun time! I found it really awesome that they brought everyone back to the grounds to share a beverage and made it a top priority that everyone had a great day & experience. Chris, along with all the other staff, were very chill and overall awesome. I would 100% recommend this place if you’re looking to go rafting!

Very nice experience and a lot of fun. Their customer service was really good and although we unfortunately ran a little bit late we still had a chance to go on the rafting trip. Our guide Will did a phenomenal job and also entertained very good. Can only recommend this place. 10/10.

Incredible experience! We did the Discovery trip and it was the most well coordinated and exciting rafting trip I’ve ever been on. If you’re on the fence do it you won’t regret it. Chris was an amazing guide who was not only fun and personable but incredible knowledgeable as well.

This had to be one of the funnest things . Half day gets you wet and right into fun. Our guide Moustache Mike was awesome! The whole staff very friendly , knowledgeable and full of energy but yet a chill vibe. Would recommend to anyone who wants some wicked memories

Wow! What an amazing adventure we had with Glacier Rafting Company in Golden, BC. From the moment we arrived they were very helpful and answered all our questions. The trip down river was so much fun and our guide Mike was awesome! I would recommend this folks for anyone looking for an action packed white water experience.

I went rafting yesterday with Glacier and had an awesome time! Everything was well organized and quite safe. We got to hit some class 4 rapids with pretty high water levels. Our Guide was Joey. She has a charming Aussie sarcastic sense of humour and is quite attractive. I highly recommend a rafting adventure with Glacier.

Exciting day rafting. Guides were knowledgeable, fun and instilled confidence for safety. For the full day of rafting the first portion is really just a float down the river. Scenery is beautiful but if you’re just wanting the excitement of rapids then the half day is sufficient. Photos are taken by one of their team members throughout the day and to purchase is $25 for single person and $45 for two people. Had a great time! Would recommend.

The best experience we had all holiday, we were made to feel mega welcome by all the team and the rafting itself was awesome.We had never rafted before so were a little nervous but it was really easy to pick up and get stuck in.Our raft guides were great fun and I couldn’t recommend this highly enough to anybody!

I went rafting this past weekend on a bachelorette party and I have nothing but great things to say about Glacier Raft Co! Their staff were so helpful and made sure our group had a great time! Their equipment and gear was well maintained, clean and safe. They provided an in depth safety overview and our rafting experience was a highlight of our trip!I would highly recommend Glacier Raft Company and I can’t wait to go again!

Unforgettable experience! We went with a group of 7 and it was a blast. We got to go through a class 4 rapid which had a 6 foot and 3 foot waterfall. Mike was our tour guide and it's safe to say he was one of the reasons that rafting was so fun. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for things to do in the area. We also had no experience with rafting!

The guides were amazing to be around. Very knowledgeable of the area and knew how to make sure we're all safe and having a good time. when it came to safety, they were humorous yet very good about getting their point across.My wife was very scared to try white water rafting but by the end of the trip she was sitting at the front of the rafts in the "splash zone" having a blast.The river itself was beautiful and scenery breathtaking. Getting to see the mountains form a different angle was incredible. The rapids were a great mix of relaxing and entertaining - nothing too challenging especially with the guides expertise.Highly recommend if in the area!

Such a fantastic experience! We did a full day of rafting. It was exceptionally organized and professional from the start. The guides were hilarious, and really made you feel comfortable. Our guide was Emmanuel and he had great knowledge of the area, mountains, history and made the hours on the raft really enjoyable! They went above and beyond to make the adventure amazing! Felt very safe, the guides were very confident in safety procedures if they were needed (they were not!). As a first time rafter I would HIGHLY recommend Glacier Raft company and I hope to visit again soon for more rafting!

Great crew of guides and staff that helped get us down the river for a fun afternoon.Saw several times that the staff went out of their way to make sure that all the guests were taken care of and their needs meet. On the river the guides knew the rapids and worked with us to give the ride that left only good memories. They were all diligent about our safety and well-being, but also they helped make sure it was an adventure.

We had a great experience from start to finish. All of the staff were always smiling and helpful. Our guide, Ben, was great. I have nothing but good things to say about our trip. Wether you are looking to take the family or something more intense for a guys or girls trip I'd highly recommend these guys. They have something for everyone!

This was simply outstanding. We did the full day rafting trip and it did not disappoint 🙂 with the views being compromised because of the wildfires we were worried this might be a letdown... but wow... just wow! Our guide Ben was fantastic (really the entire staff were phenomenal). Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and FUN. The atmosphere was exciting and inviting. The water is spectacular and they did stop to let us experience a few waterfalls and did their best to show us the sights. Whether you are an experienced rafter or brand new they will make you feel safe and show you a great time. Absolutely no negatives. Top to bottom one of the most memorable experiences of our trip out west.

This is my 3rd time doing whitewater rafting and this is by far the best experience I had! The entire process of changing into our rafting gear was very efficient. All the staffs were very professional! Our guide, Mike was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny, he made me feel very safe rafting with him! My boyfriend and I did the full day rafting and it is definitely the best way to do it! It started off pretty easy in the morning to get you used to being in the water and paddling and we stopped for some delicious burgers and ice tea that were included. Nice bathroom break as well! Just make sure you used some bug spray because there were lots of aggressive mosquitos!The afternoon was where all the excitement were! Lots of fun rapids! We also got to visit a few nice little waterfalls on the way and had the opportunity to switch spot so everyone gets a chance to be at the front! Definitely recommend trying out the front row seat! And drink the glacier water!!

I went out west for a week and my friends forced me to do white river rafting. We were part of the level 3-4 category rafts and I must say the experience was PHENOMENAL! Highly recommend trying this to anyone. It was a wonderful experience with great thrill and views along the way.I will be sure to do this again when I return to BC. Staff was great as well!!

We had a fantastic time rafting the Kicking Horse river with Glacier Raft! Our guide, Ryan (a.k.a. "Cold Ryan") was incredibly friendly and helpful, in addition to knowing every bend, twist and rock in the river. I'm not the best swimmer, and was nervous about safety and possible mishaps in the higher-class rapids we were rafting. The safety instruction we received was very thorough but not at all threatening, and I felt very safe throughout.The property where rafters assemble and prepare for the trip is beautiful and very well laid out. There was a smooth flow of people through all stages of prep for the trip, despite our tour group being fairly large. They really did think of everything.I wouldn't hesitate to book again with them. The trip was an amazing way to experience this part of the mountains, and to see views just not possible from anywhere other than the river itself.

I am glad that I chose Glacier Raft for our white water river rafting. We were a group of 8 (with the youngest being 6 yrs old). So, we booked for family adventure and the adults (12+) adventure. The experience was really smooth from the time we started at the parking lot. The instructions were very clear and the arrangements were professionally made. The guide himself (forgive me for not remembering your name) was very polite and considerate of the needs of the young family/kids. He even carried my kid for a short distance down a creek. Excellent all around. The lunch was decent and good enough not to be hungry and not too full for the afternoon adventure. As per original plan, we split in the afternoon so, a couple of adults can baby sit the kids, while others went on till 2:00. Later in the afternoon came to know that there is another rafting experience for adults at 3:30 PM. So, on spot decided to sent the adults baby sitting on the 3:30 PM trip, the company was kind enough to charge them only the difference between the family adventure and the full day experience.The rapids were fun and safe as long as the instructions are followed.Overall, I would definitely recommend this experience and the company to my friends and the ones planning a white water river rafting experience in Golden.

Great experience! Things were efficiently run and fun. If you're doing the full experience with bigger rapids, you should consider the optional wetsuit jacket. You'll appreciate it in the 6 degree water! If you like rapids, do the whole trip. If you only do the first part, The top half is pretty flat so you don't get many rapids. Lots of soaking, swirling, and splashing. Can't wait till heli rafting is operating again!

My fourth time water water rafting and probably the best one yet. I was really impressed with the guides’ knowledge and professionalism. They seemed very experienced. The river provided the right amount of thrill, some exciting rapids and beautiful scenery. We did the half day express and we hit some class 3 and 4 rapids and we were satisfied at the end. I would definitely recommend this activity for anyone staying near Golden

Went on an afternoon trip with 4 of my friends and myself on the Kicking Horse River with our River guide Kalen. It was tons of fun all the way and much safer than you’d think! After the successful journey, the company offered some beer and pop to hang out with our guides and everyone else to watch the fantastic photos that were taken. Would do this trip again (and now from the front seat of the raft 😉

My friends and I had amazing experience doing the half day white water rafting. All the guides are very professional and friendly. Alex explained safety protocols clearly and super easy to follows. Our rafting guide was Mike, he is a super cool chill dude who knows the river well, having a great guide like Mike made our first time rafting experience superb. It was such a fun experience, def would do the rafting again in the future.

Came from Toronto, first time the group tried water rafting! The team was very knowledgeable and emphasized safety. Very cautious with COVID-19 regulations and everything was very sanitary. The team offered an entire experience from start to finish and was very organized. We all felt very safe due to the professionalism. Ryan J, Ben, and Chelsea our experienced guides, helped us feel safe throughout the entire trip while still having fun! Would definitely recommend for a fun and unique experience!

Our trip was so amazing! They really went above and beyond with their service! Darren was so amazing! He gave us so many tips and places on where to go eat and visit around town. The whole experience was a breeze! The facility was so clean!Will definitely come back! 😊

We went on the opening day of 2021. They had really good COVID 19 measures in place. The staff is awesome! Very friendly and funny. They make sure everyone has a good time on the raft adventure.The river is nuts! Some really wicked waves that we go through. Suitable for most ages I would guess. I never felt that I was going to fall out of the raft. The raft is safe and you feel secure in the boat. The price for the adventure I think it a great deal. And it was the best one that I found in the area. Will definitely be rafting with them in the future.Thanks guys

This is my 2nd time rafting with this Company and i honestly can't say enough good things about. Worth absolutely every penny and then some. Everyone is extremely professional, funny, knowledgeable and overall fantastic. All of the new measures they had in place for Covid were great and they always made sure people were following the rules. Keeping my fingers crossed that next year they will have the Heli Raft going again!

We did the discovery package and had a blast with Glacier Rafting Company! The guides were very friendly and before starting the adventure went through the safety of rafting thoroughly! The guide (Ryan) we had on the river had a great sense of humor and area knowledge to add to the actual river rafting!Would definitely recommend checking them out!

We loved our full day rafting tour with Glacier Raft Company! This was not our first rafting tour on the Kicking Horse river, we had done this with then Alpine Rafting a couple of years back, loved it then, love it still now. ( Alpine and Glacier joined forces a few years back) A great summer experience, and maybe this will be a yearly tradition with the whole family, who knows. The guides are super fun and very knowledgeable, even the safety briefing on the bus is not boring at all! The river refreshing and spectacular and different every time you do it. Even this year with the COVID-19 restrictions in place, Glacier an excellent job making sure everyone is aware and following the rules by wearing their cloth masks or bandana's and hand sanitizer was applied multiple times throughout the trip. No if-what-buts-around it, just do what you need to do. All wetsuits, boots, life jackets, helmets are cleaned after use, so you can be sure they do everything to keep their customers safe. See you again Glacier Raft Company, we will be back!

Went with a group of 5 friends for a day trip and had a great experience. Staff was super nice and friendly and prices were extremely fair. They are also lenient on the 4 hour half day rental time and gave us an extra 15 minutes with out charge. Highly recommend if you plan on kayaking, canoeing, or rafting in Golden.

Our group (cohort) had an excellent time! We did the buy-a-boat option so that only our group was in the raft- no only was it cheaper for us to go that route, but we also had more fun being among friends. Emmanuel the guide was great! He got some great go-pro footage of our group, and there was a professional photographer who got some quality shots of us going over a rapid. 5/5 recommend this to anyone!
