Why is there a price difference?
These trips offer a similar white water rafting experience on the Kicking Horse River. Both start times raft the full 10 km stretch of class 2 - 4 rapids the Middle Canyon is known for.
The 11:00 am trip is a bit more expensive because it rafts an additional 3 km of the river and you'll experience a couple extra rapids called Cable Car and Hopis Hole.
The 3:30 trip puts in slightly further downstream. It gets you right into the continuous whitewater and will have you back in lots of time to enjoy a nice dinner.
A Few More Details FOR HALF DAY WHITE WATER RAFTING on the kicking horse
* All guests 19 years and older must read and agree to a Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement prior to their rafting trip. Guests under 19 will be signed by a guardian. You can VIEW THE WAIVER HERE.
* No experience required. Our guides will let you know exactly what to do!
*Everyone on this trip must be at least 12 years old and 90 lbs
* We hold the right to cancel a trip if water levels fluctuate to a level that makes it unsafe for us to raft. Water levels are completely dependent on Mother Nature, so we may not know until the day before, or morning of the trip. Safety is the only consideration when making this decision. If we cancel a trip for this reason you will receive a full refund.
* There's a $5.50 Land Use Fee and 5% GST applied to all trips.
