FULL DAY WHITE WATER RAFTING IN GOLDEN BC
Hey, that’s you! You’re floating down the river, surrounded by mountains. You decide to hop in and go for a swim, and admire the views as you’re bobbing downstream. You're enjoying a full day of Kicking Horse white water rafting.
You try your hand at the ‘river rodeo’ and get drenched by rapid after crashing rapid. With names like Man Eater, Shotgun and Roller Coaster you know they’re going to be good!
You'll get the chance to take a short walk up a narrow canyon to a beautiful cascading waterfall. Known as the Fountain of Youth, you can take a drink and test it out for yourself.
This is our White Water Discovery trip - a full day of Kicking Horse River white water rafting. Does it sound like somewhere you’d like to be?
The Discovery starts with the calm upper canyon and works up to the big whitewater in the middle canyon. The upper canyon is mostly class 1 and 2 rapids, and the middle canyon will get you soaked as you raft through lots of big class 3 and 4 whitewater (class 4 is the highest we can commercially raft in Canada). It’s a full day of white water rafting on the Kicking Horse and it's the most popular trip we offer.
Your adrenaline is going and your smile is huge – and you’re feeling good because you just feasted on our riverside BBQ lunch. Think juicy burgers, crispy chicken burgers and sizzling smokies – with options for our veggie and GF friends too.
People tend to tell us it's a, ‘Wow, I’m really happy I did that’ kind of experience.
