It's perfect if you want to fit in a bunch of adventures while visiting Golden, BC. You'll quickly see there's lots to do here!
If you get excited by the names Man Eater, Roller Coaster and Shotgun Rapids, this is the river rafting trip for you. It rafts the middle canyon of the Kicking Horse River, which is 12 km of fun rapids spaced throughout.
You'll experience a 1 km stretch of class 4 rapids known as Portage Shotgun, and you'll see why many of our guides say it's their favourite section of white water rafting on the Kicking Horse.
This trip is for our fellow adventure seekers who need a quick, and awesome, fix of excitement. If you're looking to have a bit of a sleep in, our would like to fit in another activity before or after your rafting trip, the two start times makes this possible.
The 11:00 am departure for this trip is $119 per person, and the 3:30 pm departure is $99 per person.

Why is there a price difference?
These trips offer a similar white water rafting experience on the Kicking Horse River. Both start times raft the full 10 km stretch of class 2 - 4 rapids the Middle Canyon is known for.
The 11:00 am trip is a bit more expensive because it rafts an additional 3 km of the river and you'll experience a couple extra rapids called Cable Car and Hopis Hole.
The 3:30 trip puts in a bit further downstream. It gets you right into the continuous whitewater and will have you back in lots of time to enjoy a nice dinner.
A Few More Details FOR HALF DAY WHITE WATER RAFTING on the kicking horse
* All guests 19 years and older must read and agree to a Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement prior to their rafting trip. Guests under 19 will be signed by a guardian. You can VIEW THE WAIVER HERE.
* No experience required. Our guides will let you know exactly what to do!
*Everyone on this trip must be at least 12 years old and 90 lbs
* If you’re loving your day and want to add on the lower canyon, let your guide know and they’ll make it happen. This is for rafters 14 and older on the 11:00 a.m. trip, and provided we still have seats available. The lower canyon is only accessible by helicopter, so upgrading will put you on one of our heli rafting trips which are offered Wednesdays and Saturdays starting mid July. We'll charge the difference in price to the credit card we have on file.
* We hold the right to cancel a trip if water levels fluctuate to a level that makes it unsafe for us to raft. Water levels are completely dependent on Mother Nature, so we may not know until the day before, or morning of the trip. Safety is the only consideration when making this decision. If we cancel a trip for this reason you will receive a full refund.
* There's a $5.50 Land Use Fee and 5% GST applied to all trips.
