Glacier Raft Company is now offering a 12 day Professional and Recreational Raft Guide Certification Course in conjunction with the College of the Rockies.

From the river to the mountains to the town of Golden itself, the environment we immerse ourselves in daily creates quite an enjoyable atmosphere. It is a reason the majority of our staff return year-after-year.

But just like the river itself, there are always challenges to overcome.

And that is the beauty of rivers – they are constantly flowing, and always changing. It is one of the many reasons it has taught us so much throughout the years.

With rafting season now in full swing, our guests are pumped and ready to get out on the water to have some fun. For many, white water rafting is just another part of their summer adventure: they are ready and willing to make the best out of their day!

But for many others, white water rafting is a new experience – a trip where they are not sure what to expect. That is OK!

Here at Glacier Raft Company, we are all about adventure. With an abundance of activities right outside our doorstep in Golden, the opportunities for outdoor education are endless.

As a town that is surrounded by six national parks, the idea of exploring just a couple of sites can be a bit daunting – especially if you are only in town for a few days! Our staff members thrive on adventure and many have thoroughly explored the trails in and around Golden.
